A perpetual Ugandan writer and public speaker, Jonathan Mwesigwa S. has been professionally writing since 2013 and speaking since 2016. His major interest areas are law, politics, culture and religion. He is also a published author of a book, FEDERALISM: The Most Suitable Form of Governance for Uganda (published in 2013) and Chief Editor of two periodicals: The Sword (a political magazine) and The Pleader (a newsletter and law journal).
Jonathan is a law graduate. He has obtained professional experience with Messrs. Katende, Ssempebwa & Co. Advocates (one of the oldest and leading law firms in Uganda), as well as with the Ministry of Justice & Constitutional Affairs in the Kingdom of Buganda (the largest and most influential cultural institution in Uganda). He is also a member of Amnesty International, Advocates for Public International Law, International Law Students Association and African Areopagus Society.
Presently, he is working on two books, My University Memoirs and Namirembe: A Peaceful and Troublesome Episcopal See.
